🏛️ Tony Foster
Tony Foster served Brighton Council for thirty-four years, including twenty-eight as mayor, before retiring in June 2021. 🩺 Dr Chris Hughes
Chris Hughes' association with Greenpoint Medical Centre began with a University of Tasmania student placement in 1977 and developed into more than forty years of medical work. Brighton Council recognised his service with a civic reception on his retirement. He was named Tasmania's General Practitioner of the Year in 2022 and received the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners' Rose-Hunt Award in 2023. Alongside patient care, his professional contribution included examining and college committee work.
